International Silesian Freediving Cup 2011 - results

Competition

The International Silesian Freediving competition will be held on 2nd and 3rd December 2011 at the Sports and Recreation Swimming Pool Center in Rybnik.

The two-day competition will include all indoor pool disciplines ,and for the second time, a team competition. It is an international event with AIDA status both ranking and World Record!!

Disciplines:

  • Static apnea (STA)
  • Dynamic without fins (DNF)
  • Dynamic with fins (DYN)

To qualify in the team competitions, the team must consist of 3 members, a minimum of one being a woman.

This condition is intended as a promotion of sport freediving among females.

To further entice you to bring in ladies into your teams, I would like to add that it is this category that the most valuable prizes will be awarded.

To compete you must:

-read the rules of competition ( Rules bookmark)

-register through Register bookmark (choose between options: individual/team , if registering a team, you must provide team name )

-pay the registration fee to the following account:

Registration fee is:

100 PLN (Polish zloty) – for Freediving Poland members, 125PLN for all other competitors of Polish nationality, and 40 Euro for foreigners.

The deadline for both registration and fee payment is 20th Nov 2011.

Due to the time limitations, the number of participants is limited to 45 regardless of nationality.

Enrollment is on a first come first served basis.

The event is open to the public, everybody is most welcome –not only freedivers!

While at the reception desk you must present:

1. valid medical certificate stating ability to dive (it may be annotation within your dive book)

2. valid ID or passport,

and must sign the liability form.

Closing ceremony and awards presentation will take place on Saturday.
