Rules

The competition will be held in accordance with CMAS Rules Athletes will compete in the following disciplines::

Dynamic with Fins or Dynamic with BiFins
Dynamic without Fins
Static Apnea

To earn points in the team classification, a team must consist of three people, including at least one female athlete. This team setup is primarily intended to promote freediving among women.

Additionally, in 2025, to increase competitiveness in team events, we are introducing a rule that allows only one athlete per team to be a medalist of the CMAS Pool World Championships 2025. This change also aims to strengthen community integration.

As during the last competition in Rybnik, participants can choose which dynamic discipline they will perform on the first day (Saturday) and which on the second day (Sunday). Each day, athletes may compete in only one dynamic discipline. Results from DYN and DYN-BF will have separate individual rankings, while in team rankings, a conversion factor will apply: 1.1 for DYN-BF/DYN for women and 1.05 for men.

Each athlete is entitled to one start in DYN or DYN-BF and one in DNF.

For organizational reasons and due to pool availability, the static discipline will be held on both Saturday and Sunday, and athletes will be randomly assigned to specific days.

During the competition, random anti-doping controls may be carried out, including tests for prohibited substances such as benzodiazepines.

Participation eligibility:

All participants must be in possession of a valid medical exam certification (dive log entry or a certificate form) or a medical certificate from a sports doctor in case of holding a PZF license,
be 18 years of age (or 16 with a written parental consent and the attendance of at least one parent),
be in possession of a valid passport or an identity card,
must sign a liability waiver.

Registration fee:

Paid before November 20th, 2025 (early bird rate):

100 euro for other participants.

Paid after November 20th, 2025:

120 euro for other participants.

In accordance with the PZF-CMAS rules, participation in the Championships is determined by the order based on personal best results. Therefore, in the fields below, please provide your best personal results from competitions or training sessions.
